In celebration of National Health Center Week, Inland Behavioral & Health Services, Inc. are hosting Back-To-School Health Fairs. They are looking for volunteers who can help staffing the booths, lead various carnival games, help pass out school supplies for children, and more fun activities!

Volunteer for the “Rendezvous Back to Route 66” event! (Good for individuals or groups)

When: Saturday, October 7, 2017 10am-10pm
Where: Downtown San Bernardino (Court & E street)

The San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce will be presenting the 5th Annual Rendezvous Back to Route 66. Volunteers are needed for the day of the event to direct traffic throughout the cruising route and general event support. Volunteers who commit to 4 hours or more will receive a volunteer T-shirt and a VIP rest area with snacks and water.

Make hygiene kits to donate to The Way Downtown Mission! (Good for groups)

The Way World Outreach Downtown Transformation Center needs hygiene kits for those in San Bernardino who are in need of immediate assistance with basic sanitary needs. Hygiene kits can include any of the following travel-sized supplies: disposable razor, shampoo, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, moist towelettes, comb, etc. Items can be placed in a medium size zip-lock bag. Donations should be in quantities of one dozen, so get together with your group and make hygiene kits!

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Wish Granters work in pairs to meet with their wish children and their families. They also work with staff and Wish Coordinators in planning and executing the wishes.

Volunteer for the Redlands Salvation Army Cold-Weather Shelter (Great for individuals & small groups)

The shelter is opened between December through March when temperature is lower than 40 degrees and when it is raining. The first shift starts at 7:30 pm and the last shift leaves at 6:45 am. Each shift is three or six hours.
